Mike Little

Mike was born and raised in North Vancouver. He continues to live and serve his community from the Parkgate Neighbourhood of Seymour with his wife Kellyanne and their four children.

Mike attended Carson Graham Secondary School and went on to study at Capilano College before transferring to Trinity Western University where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. During his time at Trinity Western, Mike studied for a semester at the Laurentian Leadership Centre in Ottawa and received a Certificate in Leadership and Applied Public Affairs for his time.

Mike has an extensive wealth of experience in both public-advocacy and in the private sector. Since his time at the Trinity Western, Mike has committed to a strong and stable Canada built on fiscal discipline, especially now with global uncertainty.

Mike works as an operations manager for Westran Intermodal Limited, a company that ships over 20,000 marine containers of finished lumber to customers in Asia.

Burnaby North - Seymour

Burnaby North Seymour is a new riding created by the elections boundary act to better reflect population realities in 2015. It is comprised of:

1. North Burnaby, everything north of the Lougheed Highway, between Boundary and North Road, AND

2. North Vancouver, everything east of the Seymour River.

Facts and Figures

  • Thanks to legislation introduce by the Conservative Government this will be the first election that British Columbia has the same representation per population as Ontario and Quebec.
  • Burnaby is the third most populated city in British Columbia with over 223,218 people.
  • Mt. Seymour is one of the oldest ski areas in British Columbia with the mountain originally opening in 1938.
